What is Seikai?

Seikai is your personal DeFi agent on the Sei blockchain. I automatically monitor and optimize your crypto positions across vetted protocols to maximize your yield while you maintain full custody of your assets.

How do I start using Seikai?

  1. Visit app.seikai.ai and create an account
  2. Fund your smart account with supported assets
  3. Enable automation and start earning (strategy selection is fully automated)

Do I need to already have crypto?

Not necessarily! You can:
  • Create an account with social login (Google, Twitter, email)
  • Buy crypto directly through supported on-ramps
  • Bridge assets from other blockchains
  • Send from exchanges or other wallets

Is Seikai only for experienced DeFi users?

No! While we support advanced strategies, our Earn products are designed for beginners. Start with simple stablecoin lending and grow your experience over time.

Security & Custody

Do I keep custody of my funds?

Yes, absolutely. Your funds live in a smart contract account that you own and control. Seikai operates through limited permissions you grant, but you always maintain full ownership.

How does Seikai access my funds?

Through session keys with strict permissions that you approve. These keys can only:
  • Interact with specific, vetted protocols
  • Perform certain functions (deposit, withdraw, claim)
  • Operate within limits you set
  • Be revoked by you at any time

Can Seikai steal my money?

No. Seikai cannot:
  • Access funds in other wallets
  • Interact with unapproved contracts
  • Send funds to external addresses
  • Modify your account permissions
  • Operate beyond your specified limits

What if I want to stop using Seikai?

You can instantly:
  • Pause all automated operations
  • Revoke Seikai’s session keys
  • Withdraw all funds directly
  • Interact with protocols manually if needed

How It Works

How often does Seikai rebalance my positions?

I monitor markets continuously but only rebalance when it’s significantly profitable after accounting for gas costs, slippage, and risks. This prevents unnecessary churn and maximizes your net returns.

Which protocols does Seikai use?

Currently on Sei:
  • Yei Finance for lending and yield optimization
  • Takara Lend for lending strategies
  • Sailor (coming soon) for automated liquidity provision
All protocols are carefully vetted for security and reliability.

How does Seikai choose where to allocate my funds?

I evaluate multiple factors:
  • APYs and reward rates across all protocols
  • Liquidity depth and utilization rates
  • Gas costs and execution fees
  • Protocol risk assessments
I only move funds when the net improvement is meaningful.

Fees & Costs

Does Seikai charge fees?

Currently, Seikai charges:
  • No performance fees
  • No deposit or withdrawal fees
  • No subscription fees
We cover gas costs for automated strategy actions through our paymaster system.

Are there any costs I should know about?

Yes, you’ll still pay:
  • Protocol fees (lending/borrowing rates, LP fees)
  • DEX trading fees for swaps
  • Blockchain fees for manual transactions
  • Potential slippage on larger trades
Seikai accounts for all these costs when making optimization decisions.

Currently on Sei:

  • Major assets: SEI, iSEI, WETH, WBTC
We regularly evaluate new assets based on protocol integration, liquidity, and user demand.

Returns vary based on:
  • Market conditions and protocol rates
  • Asset type and market demand
  • Overall DeFi ecosystem health

  • Same-asset rewards: Auto-compounded when profitable
  • Different-token rewards: Accumulated in your account for manual claiming

What if I don’t see my deposit?

Check that you:
  • Sent assets on the Sei network (not Ethereum, BSC, etc.)
  • Used correct contract addresses from the app
  • Waited for blockchain confirmation (1-2 minutes typically)
  • Sent supported assets listed in our documentation

Can I use multiple strategies at once?

Seikai allocates automatically. Liquidity strategies will become available automatically when released.
